FLOOD RISK ENGINEER TRURO/BRISTOL
H2OK Water & Energy are a fast expanding engineering company who currently have a vacancy for a FLOOD RISK ENGINEER. Salary dependent upon experience.
Based at either of our offices in Truro or Bristol, H2OK provide turnkey services to Water and Sewage, Civil Environmental and Renewable Energy Sectors.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and conceptual drainage designs. A technical grounding in flood risk studies is required. An understanding of a range of flood modelling software such as HEC-RAS and WINFAP-FEH and WinDES would be beneficial.

COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
H2OK Water and Energy are a fast growing company in the Industrial Effluent and Anaerobic Digestion sectors. Due to our success we are urgently looking for a highly-motivated industrial effluent/AD biogas industry expert to join our team. The successful applicant will bring drive and experience along with strong personal communication and commitment. You will have Knowledge of treatment processes and market products. This is a real opportunity for growth and personal development as you will be becoming a member of the H2OK Water and Energy team at an exciting time as they expand and offer the H2OK turn key service to a diverse array of potential clients in the UK market.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and maintain key relationships in effluent treatment and AD Biogas sectors throughout the UK with the aim of expanding the customer base and maintaining the existing pipeline of customers
- Management of enquiry database.
- Working collaboratively with other members of staff to create and submit high-value tender proposal documents.
- Liaising with project and division managers to ensure that existing projects are running smoothly and support issues are being dealt with promptly.
- Manage multiple existing projects and proposals simultaneously whilst actively seeking new project opportunities.
- The position will involve travel, within the UK and abroad, and may require working additional hours for completion of time sensitive projects/opportunities and when otherwise appropriate.
